This website is for the descendants of Timothy Mather and for anyone with an interest in early New England history,

Timothy Mather was born in 1628 in Lancashire, England and lived in Dorchester, in the Massachusetts Bay Colony from 1636 to 1684.

This website is dedicated to the results of the historical research done in preparation for writing a fictional account of Timothy’s life during a turbulent and formative time in early New England.
